Dalguise 2016

On Thursday 21st April, 12 pupils from Vision Support set off from Aberdeen to PGL Dalguise in Perthshire for a Peer Support trip.  We stopped off en-route for a snack at Glendoick Garden Centre, before arriving at Dalguise for lunch.  We explored the grounds during Orienteering, then had fun canoeing on the loch.  We also built robots and had fun and games in the evening.  After a much needed sleep, we took on the Team Challenge Course, then challenged ourselves on the Giant Swing. Finally it was time for lunch and back onto the bus to head home.

I really enjoyed getting dirty on the team challenge course.

I enjoyed all of the activities at Dalguise, but my favourite was the canoeing. I enjoyed learning how to canoe and the fun and games that came with it.

Out of all the activities, I enjoyed the Gian Swing the most because I think it built up everyone's confidence. At the start most people were quite worried.
