RNIB Scotland’s Education and Family Services (EFS) Team invite you to a summer extravaganza –
Shape and Share Event in Falkirk.
Saturday 25 June 2016, 1100 -1500, Forth Valley Sensory Centre, Redbrae Rd, Camelon, Falkirk FK1 4DD followed by Falkirk Wheel
Haggeye members will host their Summer National Meeting, while Haggeye Jnrs will be entertained with fun games and activities.
Parents can join in the fun and catch up with friends old and new as well as find out more about the various services we offer.
The day will finish with everyone going on a boat trip on the Falkirk Wheel!
Places are limited so you must register for this event byMonday 6 June 2016 at the very latest. Please use the registration form enclosed. Lunch and refreshments, activities and boat trip will be provided free of charge.
The EFS Team support children and young people with sight problems, their families and carers, and the professionals who support them, from the point of diagnosis through to school, college and university education.
Haggeye is our award-winning forum that gives young people with sight loss aged 12 to 25 a voice. The forum provides a friendly and supportive platform which helps young people raise awareness of what it is like to be blind or partially sighted.
Haggeye Jrs will organise fun activities and events for children with sight loss aged 5 to 12, their siblings and parents. Members will receive a certificate, a goody bag, and invitations to other events where they can meet other blind and partially sighted children, try out new things and have fun.For more information, please email or call 0131 652 3194.
