We held a joint Parents’ Information Evening on the 5th May with Aberdeenshire Sensory Support Service and the Grampian Deaf Children’s Society. We were delighted to see so many parents/families at the evening and from the feedback we received afterwards, parents really enjoyed the event.
Alan McQueen, Family Officer, gave a talk on how the National Deaf Children’s Society can support parents and children which was very informative. This was followed by 3 ex-pupils talking about their experiences at school and college/university. We would like to thank Nikki King, Kieran Ross and Robert Neish for their contributions which were very well received by all present.
We hope to have another evening next year and would welcome any suggestions for topics, speaker etc you may have
