Thursday 7th July Trip to Alford. Tubing (am) Transport Museum (pm) Bus from NESS John Street leaving at 9.30am – 4.30pm

For those that want to meet us there, Tubing starts at 10.45 am.

Take a picnic with you and a raincoat (It’s summer in Aberdeen!).Take a pair of gloves for the Tubing. Please book a space to avoid disappointment.


Tuesday 12th July Wildlife Centre, Aviemore. Leave from NESS Elgin @ 9.30am

Come along and be a Wildlife Spotter for the day! All you need is a picnic and weather appropriate clothing.


Wednesday 13th July Bowling at Abergeldie Bowling Club, Aberdeen 11am-12noon

Get your sporting side on, bring trainers for on the bowling green.


Friday 15th July Elgin Family FUN Day. Elgin Scouting Ground, The Wards@1pm – 4pm

Guaranteed to be a great day out for all the family, get your tickets NOW!!

£2 for a child, £5 for an adult, £12 for 2x adult, 2xchildren.


       Monday 18th July Swimming, Moray Leisure Centre Elgin 2pm

   Meet at the pool and remember your swimmers. All welcome.


Wednesday 20th July Rangers activity for the under 10’s at Duthie Park, Aberdeen 10.15am gathering, followed by a picnic

The Duthie Park rangers have another special activity prepared for us. Take along a picnic with you and we’ll enjoy it in the park afterwards. All welcome.


Friday 22nd July Kayaking in Seaton Park, Aberdeen (Time to be confirmed)

For over 10’s with limited spaces available.

Come and do a trial session with the Aberdeen Kayak club, super fun and a great new experience guaranteed.


Tuesday 26th July Dolphin Watch 1.30pm Moray

Let’s hit the waves from Findhorn on a lovely boat trip to catch sight of the Dolphins and seals. Bus will leave NESS Elgin at12.30pm, returning 4.30pm.

Outerwear will be provided by the boat company, but make sure you have warm clothes and waterproof shoes with you. We recommend bringing a snack. Spaces are limited so please book your place to avoid disappointment.


Friday 29th July Swimming Outdoor Pool Stonehaven 1pm – 5pm

Have a dip in the salty waters of Stonehaven swimming pool, followed by ice-cream from Aunty Betty’s. Please bring some pocket money for a yummy ice-cream from Aunty Betty’s.

Swimming costume/ Towel/ pocket money.


Monday 1st August Treasure Trail, Castlegate, Aberdeen, 1pm. Over 10’s

If you want to be a Detective for a couple of hours come along and we will solve all the clues! Meet at NESS 12.45pm. Walking shoes required.


Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th August,  Aberdeen International Youth Festival

Activities and times to be confirmed.

For all the budding musicians and dancers in the group.


Tuesday 9th August Horse riding, The Cabin (1pm-3pm) Aberdeen

Limited spaces for this activity. Book a place early to avoid being disappointed.

Transport from NESS Aberdeen available.


Wednesday 10th August Horse riding, Cranloch Elgin (time to be confirmed)

Come along and have a lovely time with the horses at Cranloch.  Transport from NESS Elgin, limited spaces available for this activity.


Tandem sessions for both Elgin and Aberdeen, time, date and place to be confirmed.
